Detachable Antler Mounts
Here is the easy way to make those
antlers removable for shipping or just moving from room
to room. Quick and easy . We stock the large set with 5/8"
pins for BIG moose and elk, the medium set with 1/2" pins for
small to medium moose, elk, caribou, etc, and the small set with
3/8" pins for whitetail, muley, fallow, etc. 5/8"& 1/2" pins
are 6" and the 3/8" pins are 5". Outside sizes on the tubes are 3/4",
5/8", & 1/2" - 3/4' & 5/8" tubes are 4" and 1/2" tubes
are 3".
The pins insert and remove easily.
All prices are per pair and extra
pins/tubes are also available for those wanting to change
antlers on a detachable mount.
For those of you that prefer the threaded type, we now
have those as well in 5/8" heavy duty pin and 1/2" pin. Pins
are approximately 4 1/8', 3/4" & 1/2" tubes are 2 7/8" and
threaded pins are 2 1/2". Sold in pairs.
We know, sometimes you want to use the same
antlers on different mounts. Why buy a whole pin set if you only
want the tubes ? These are the same tubes as included in
our sets. Sold in pairs

Detachable Mounting Bracket
This mounting plate allows
you to set shed moose ( or large elk )antlers on a standard
taxidermy form. Has mounting holes and the soft steel bar can
be easily bent in a vice, or with heat, to any position you desire.
These work just the opposite of our other detachable mounts
as the sleeve
goes in the antler and slides over the pin. Best of all, the bar
can also be bent in the other direction and also used as a
plaque mount. Plenty of bar length
to allow trimming in needed..Can use our extra tubes with
these for other antler sets.
Because these are a welded
unit, the 1/2" will handle big elk, moose, stag.
